I’ve worked for several offices, large and small, and I feel the time has come to do something on my own. You can view this blog as my window towards you, while the news site is being developed. I will do my best to upload as much news as possible – RSS feel is there for a reason.
There are no ads on this page, besides ones WordPress might put. Enjoy your stream of good and hopefully, high quality news.

Well, it’s not my template… I am still knee-deep in Joomla, WordPress, Google and other CMS’es that will be the base for the site… the site will feature more room for news, I can guarantee that.
This is somewhat limited template, but what could I do…? Given the fact that WordPress does not want any ads on the site, one thing is certain: I won’t be paying for their premium services (such as custom CSS, domain name redirect, no wordpress ads). I was willing to cash some $100 a year just to be let alone and have my ads, but WP did not liked that idea.
Still, you have to start somewhere, right?

Just discovered your site. Good start. One suggestion though, I would change the past tense of your
mission statement to the present tense, since chips are constantly changing:

Well, I am giving some serious consideration. Realistically, this blog will continue, but not in its present form.
I can now say that I will try to keep up and so on, but why – I will start publishing my private thoughts on both the new site and blog, and link stories from there.
I am very pleased with the fact that 120 stories so far managed to grab attention of 54,910 visitors (so far), but the format of WordPress is just too limiting for what I want to do – I’ll run a review of Biohazard today, want to see how will that look.
But multi-page, multi-browser friendly optimized site is the next step for me.

Hi Theo, Do you know when does the Phenom II NDA expire?
I have a socket 939 system. I wanted to upgrade my system this Xmas with mobo+cpu+ram and was going for a Core 2 Duo. But now I’m in doubt because Phenom II will be out soon.
So do you know when the serious reviews will be online?

Heya Patrick,
NDA on Phenom II ends on January 8, 2009. However, pay close attention to on-line stores, I know that channel started to receive Phenoms last week, so it is only a matter of time before somebody breaks it and offers Phenom II for sale.
As far as press go, I doubt anyone will break NDA – folk that got the CPU from AMD will not want to break the deal with AMD, one site that talks about not respecting NDAs is following them blindely (unless they write about Nvidia, than they will blast everybody in that company and not respect their NDA)…
Overall, expect first leaked info this week
